Awakening Through Art is a non-profit program, fiscally sponsored by CounterPULSE (www.counterpulse.org). We provide process based workshops in San Francisco, which include making art, drumming, drum instruction and singing. Our mission is to create events and collaborate with other programs to encourage different communities of people to come together around art and music. All are welcome and materials/instruments are provided.

We specialize in working with creative blocks in unconventional ways that encourage liberation from whatever holds a person back. All people are artists, musicians and uniquely talented and creative in some way; we help people recognize that in themselves so that they can open up to new inspirations and flow in their art, music and life.

Private Awakening Through Art sessions are available at the Muse Department, in the Mission District of San Francisco. In a private session, we will work on connecting with your inspiration through meditation, hypnotherapy and sound healing and we will use creative blocks as energy that can be recycled and integrated into your artwork.
